Things haven’t been great for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright as of late. Not only are the stars of The Valley going through a separation, but there have been rumors that he’s dating despite Brittany having said there’s a chance they could fix things.
In particular, he has been linked to model Paige Woolen, and they were recently seen having a long lunch. She even joked that she was pregnant, but now Jax is denying that they’re dating. Plus, Brittany hasn’t thrown up from stress since they went their separate ways.
Bravo fans have known for a while that Jax and Brittany had issues in their relationship. However, they have a son, so many hoped they could work things out. Unfortunately, the married couple separated in February of this year. Making matters worse, there was even an investigation into his restaurant after a viral video showed him changing a diaper on the bar.
Jax recently took to X, formally known as Twitter, to share an update on his dating life and to deny rumors. He said, “I am not dating anyone, and I wish you all knew the full story of this situation.. it’s not what you think.” He then shared the tweet to his Instagram stories.

Of course, Paige joking that she’s pregnant while people were aware of them hanging out only made people run with the possibility of them being together even more. This came after an episode of The Valley where Brittany admitted she wanted another child. Many fans thought this was Paige’s way of being nasty to Brittany.
Speaking of Brittany, fans will recall that she previously stated that she had been throwing up due to the stress with Jax. However, Scheana Shay recently shared an update about her friend. According to US Weekly, Scheana said this on her podcast, “I know just from talking to Brittany, she says that she has not thrown up once since they separated, whether drinking or not.”
She continued, “I think it was stress-induced when she broke out in hives like her body was having a physical reaction.”
She also said other people close to them were able to realize the negative impact Jax had on Brittany.
“Was it Jasmine Goode in her interview? She’s like, ‘No. She’s not sick. She’s sick of [Jax.]’”
Jax has alleged on the show that Brittany being sick was due to heavy drinking. He has even gone as far as to subtly criticize her parenting for fans to see. The Valley has also been hard to watch in parts because Brittany has discussed how much Jax “puts [her] down.”
