My Sweet Mobster is an ongoing JTBC K-drama, starring Uhm Tae-Goo and Han Sun-Hwa in the lead roles. It is based on a webtoon titled A Woman Who Plays by Park Soo Jung.

The story revolves around a former convict, Seo Ji-Hwan (Tae-Goo), who turns his life around and leaves his past behind. He is now a successful CEO, helping ex-convicts turn over a new leaf. On his new journey, he meets his childhood friend, Go Eun-Ha (Sun-Hwa). She is a popular content creator for children and is known as “Mini Sister.”

Her content includes stories from her childhood days that she spent with Ji-Hwan. Soon, the two get closer, rekindling their friendship. Will rough and tough Ji-Hwan experience love for the first time? Only time will tell.

My Sweet Mobster webtoon plot: Is it similar to the K-drama?

A Woman Who Plays webtoon has a similar storyline to the K-drama. In fact, the character names are the same in A Woman Who Plays and My Sweet Mobster.

Hi /r/movies, I’m Gus Van Sant. I’ve directed Good Will Hunting, Milk, My Own Private Idaho, Drugstore Cowboy, and Elephant. My newest film, Dead Man’s Wire, is a true-crime thriller and it’s out in theaters this weekend. I’m joined by Austin Kolodney, the film’s screenwriter. Ask us anything!

The description of the webtoon gives a clear indication that the storylines are similar. It reads (originally in Korean), “I laid the man I met for the first time!’ Eunha, a creator of the unpopular children’s channel, ‘Minionni’, injures a man by accident during cleaning work. He has an enormous height, a gigantic muscular body, a fierce expression and a scar! Eunha scared, runs away. Meanwhile, at the hospital, scary man (?) Jihwan wakes up and says: ‘Find her and bring her in politely.’ He seems to know something about Eunha…?”

In the K-drama, the characters tell the same story.

My Sweet Mobster webtoon ending: Is it ongoing, or has it ended?

A Woman Who Plays is an ongoing webtoon that releases new chapters every Tuesday. On June 18, 2024, the webtoon released episode 35.

Meanwhile, My Sweet Mobster K-drama premiered on June 12, 2024, and has aired two episodes so far. Episode 3 will air on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. on JTBC. It also streams on Viki.
