Lucasfilm has released seven new character posters for Star Wars: The Acolyte featuring more of the main characters in the series and each of the posters come with additional details on the character.
The new set showcases Osha (Amandla Steinberg) and her droid, Pip, as well as Yord Fandar (Charlie Barnett), Torbin (Dean-Charles Chapman), Vernestra (Rebecca Henderson), Qimir (Manny Jacinto), Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith), and Mother Koril (Margarita Levieva).
It’s pretty wild how this show has been stirring up craziness in the Star Wars community. Every episode brings out something new that gets fans riled up.
The Acolyte is described as “a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.” The High Republic is set 100 years before the Skywalker Saga begins.
Steinberg plays a former Padawan and dangerous warrior who is hunting down and killing Jedi. In the story, “An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Stenberg).
“As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….”
