The hit fantasy game Elden Ring is getting an anime short film adaptation and today we’ve got a first look to share with you that was shared by the people creating it.
The project comes from SteinsAlter, an indie production group that creates and shares animated shorts online. The group has now announced plans to release an Elden Ring anime, and and it looks like it’ll be pretty cool!
The group explains that the anime will be 3 minutes long and “filled with cinematically composed sakuga that adapts and recreates moments from Elden Ring, we will be aiming to release the best animation possible for us.”
The world of Elden Ring is massive and there’s so many different stories they could tell with this. While this is a short film, I hope that it inspires someone to make a full on anime series! Anime is the perfect medium to explore this fantasy world.
The anime short is set to debut its trailer this June, so stay tuned for that!
