John Fuda Says Joining RHONJ Was “Not Worth It,” Claims He Gets “Weird” Looks in Meetings, and Son’s Friends Are Being Warned to "Stay Away”

John Fuda said joining Real Housewives of New Jersey was “not worth it,” and shared how his life has changed since the current season started airing. He claimed people are giving him “weird” looks in meetings, and his son’s friends are being warned to “stay away” from him and his wife Rachel Fuda.

In recent episodes, John went up against ‘OG’ castmate Teresa Giudice, who accused him of being a drug dealer in the past. John admitted that he made mistakes when he was a juvenile concerning marijuana. In recent weeks, John threatened a slander lawsuit after fans seemingly wrote fake reviews about his business.

On the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast, John was asked if his time on RHONJ has hindered him socially or professionally.

“Yes, there’s been a lot affected by some of the comments made [on the show],” he said, via @nosmokenomore on X. “I’m paying reputationally. I’m paying big time.”

“I have scenarios with, you know, my son’s friends’ … parents: ‘Hey, you know what? I heard this about him. You know, stay away from them.’ I’ve had that happen already,” he explained.

He also shared that people are now “looking at me weird” in meetings, and he believes you can throw any “rumor” at the wall just to see if it sticks.

John recently had a meeting for an important project, and the hardest part was explaining “everything that pops up” about him on google.

He was later asked whether he questions if RHONJ was worth it.

“Oh yeah,” he said. “And I have no problem saying it. At this particular time where I am in this show, it’s not worth it.”

Back in May, John released a statement on Instagram concerning the recent controversy.

“While I am not proud of every aspect of my history, I have worked tirelessly to overcome challenges and strive for a better future. I refuse to be defined by my past mistakes,” he stated. “I will continue to rise above negativity and remain true to myself.”
