DC’s Peter Safran Says Nicholas Hoult Is ‘Lex Luthor for Next Generation’

Paramount Pictures has released a new featurette for its upcoming sci-fi horror film A Quiet Place: Day One, and if you’re a fan of cats, this is for you.

The video focuses on the cat character in the movie, Frodo, who is played by two cats named Nico and Schnitzel. Apparently, the cat plays a major role in the story.

The video begins with the film’s star Lupita Nyong’o talking about how she was not a fan of cats before making this movie. She was actually scared of them and described them as “small lions.” She loves cats now, though.

This third film in the A Quiet Place franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning when the aliens first invaded planet Earth. This is a much bigger story that had a much bigger budget than the first two films.

A Quiet Place: Day One is a post-apocalyptic horror prequel “taking place at the beginning of it all” before the original A Quiet Place (2018) film.

“A woman named Sam (Nyong’o) on a day trip to the city must survive an invasion in New York of bloodthirsty alien creatures with ultrasonic sound hearing.”

A Quiet Place: Day One is directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig), and the movie also stars Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.

A Quiet Place: Day One will be released in theaters nationwide on June 28th, 2024.
