Wondering how much is the Love Island contestants’ salary? The new season of Love Island is set to premiere soon, with the cast poised to ignite romance under the Fijian sun. This reality TV drama series brings together ten singles in a luxurious villa, where they’ll forge connections and seek compatibility. As anticipation builds towards the premiere, a question frequently pops up amongst fans: how much do these Love Island stars make?

Here’s everything you need to know about the Love Island stars’ remuneration.

What salary do the Love Island stars get paid?

There is no fixed salary for the Love Island contestants. It usually depends on the stint and their contracts.

Demi Jones

In a question and answer on TikTok, Love Island All-Stars contestant Demi Jones discussed cast compensation on the reality show. According to a report on Hello Rayo, Jones revealed she was paid around £250.

Jones said, “Yes, you do get paid to go on the show. I personally got paid £250 a week.”

Tom Clare

Love Island: All Stars contestant, Tom Clare offered a lighthearted hint about contestant compensation during an interview with Closer magazine. He jokingly stated his minimum fee would be around the cost of his fellow islander Ron Hall’s Prada bag. The Prada bag retails between £1,300 and £2,000.

A report from The Sun reveals that Love Island All-Stars contestants are being offered a substantial pay rise. As a result, they will receive £2,000 per week. It is a significant increase of 433% from the standard £375 weekly fee for regular Islanders.

Jay Younger

In a recent interview on The Big Jim Show podcast, Jay Younger, a contestant on Love Island 2022, revealed the show’s contestant compensation structure. Younger revealed that participants receive a base weekly stipend, which he estimated to be around £375. He further clarified that opportunities exist to earn additional income through sponsored content within the show itself.

“Once they send through the contract, I think they pay you like £375 a week. It’s very low,” Younger said of the base pay. “It’s like minimum wage. £375 a week and they’ll pay for any advertisements you do.”

Furthermore, as per Daily Mail Joey Essex’s salary for his appearance on Love Island is £375 a week.
