Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino recently shared that she and John Janssen are considering getting engaged. In fact, she went as far as to say they have looked at rings. Now, Shannon Beador, who dated John for three years, is reacting to the news and saying she expects nothing less from someone who moves through life the way he does.
Fans will recall that the news hit the press that Alexis was dating John. Of course, people had differing reactions, considering that he had dated Alexis’ former co-star. Then it was announced that Alexis would be returning to RHOC as a friend of, and now it seems this will be a part of the drama for the upcoming season.
Shannon recently spoke to E! News and reacted to John and Alexis considering engagement. Shannon is not surprised John is moving ‘fast,’ as she says he did the same with her.
She told the outlet, “That’s John Janssen. At two weeks, he said I was his person and his future, so they’re following the John Janssen course. I didn’t get a ring, but I thought right away that I was going to spend the rest of my life with John. He moves very quickly.”
While Shannon is happy for the two, she does express that she believes the relationship may not be completely authentic. She says, “Good for them, be happy. From the outside looking in, it looks to me that there are ulterior motives on both sides for them to be in a relationship, so we’ll see. I’m grateful that John isn’t in my life because we had a very toxic relationship. I’m grateful.”
Shannon then shares her initial reaction to the news of Alexis returning to RHOC.
“Really? Really? She hasn’t been on the show for ten years. But, yeah, she’s dating John Janssen now, so let’s bring her back.”
She goes on to say that she and Alexis will not become friends. Part of the disdain is over Alexis’ ex-husband suing Shannon. Shannon won the case, but she is unhappy over the costs associated with the hearing.
She says, “She started a lawsuit with her ex-husband, and I lost a lot of money, so let’s just throw John Janssen out of the equation. I wouldn’t be friends with her.”
Shannon continues, “I can say with confidence I don’t think I was unkind to her at all, so I can hold my head up high. I don’t know if she can.”
Alexis also recently shared similar sentiments to the outlet by saying, “We start off rocky. It never gets any better after that.”
Fans can see the rocky start between Shannon and Alexis when RHOC returns on July 11 on Bravo.
