Just when fans thought another wild moment went down at the VMAs, the air is being cleared!
As we previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake were seen backstage at the Video Music Awards interacting with each other. At some point, Meg can be seen yelling and pointing in his direction.
Of course, at the time fans thought Timberlake had possibly said something that rubbed her the wrong way. However, it turned out to be nothing like that. Meg hopped on Instagram Wednesday morning to set the record straight.
She shared a TikTok of her and Timberlake together and said, “I just talked with my hands,” She then tagged @justintimberlake and said, “Love ya 💙”

A source had also spoken out to Variety to clarify what really went down backstage. “He said, ‘It’s so nice to meet you,’ and she said ‘No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper.’” The source added, “It was very cute,”
A second eyewitness source told the outlet, “Meg loves Justin. She was saying “No, no, no, we’ve never met before. It was their first time meeting and she was excited.”
Aside from all of that, Megan Thee Stallion had an electrifying performance with Cardi B as they performed their new track, BONGOS.
“BONGOS” is Cardi and Megan’s first new song since their 2020 history-making track, “WAP.” They released the song on September 8, along with a tropical, choreography-heavy video directed by Tanu Muino.
It was exciting to see Megan hit the stage as she’s been slowly making a comeback to the public eye. The superstar had been laying low amid Tory Lanez’s trial in her shooting case. However, that finally all came to an end with the entertainer being sentenced to 10 years for shooting her.
Fans are ultimately glad to see Megan getting back to her fun ways and more importantly, doing what she loves.
