how do i start….I nearly lost my mind when i first watched lock, stock & two smoking barrels. Wanted to stop it half way through because of the "confused and non-linear" story line, but when everything came together, my mind was too fragile to comprehend what i Just watched.
Then i watched snatch. I knew i was in for a fun but boy, Ritchie went all in with this one. Brad Pitt's pickey acting (the dags), the dog eating the diamond, the unlicensed boxing matches, Brad Pitt cooking a master plan to take revenge on the gangster, I was in for fun. Not to mention, Jason in the lead role is just cherry on the cake
And then Two parts of sherlock holmes were a hit but lacked the sense of being a Ritchie film. I mean, movies and story were top notch, but as a true Guy Ritchie fan, I always crave for that gangster drama. Fast forward to 2019, watched "The Gentlemen" and it blew my mind and away and i was so happy that Ritchie came back to his crime genre and then followed by "The wrath of man" is just hit on a hit.
Operation Fortune was mid but The Covenant was a hit but it didn't have the Ritchie touch. To be honest, i think Ritchie should stick to crime drama instead of being creative. Clearly these movies i am gonna revisit again and again but I can't watch Aladdin more than once. what do you guys think ?
