What’s Iggy Pop Singing at the End of the New ‘Superman’ Movie?

A new The Penguin poster is out, teasing the upcoming HBO Original series that will also stream to Max.

The new poster highlights the gritty world of Gotham, and sees Colin Farrell‘s Oswald Cobblepot standing in the rain outside Gotham’s Iceberg Lounge. The poster doesn’t show off too much else, however, other than advertising the show as “the next chapter in The Batman saga.”

The Penguin is coming to San Diego Comic-Con this coming July. In addition to hosting a Hall H panel with the cast and executive producers of the series, a new trailer for The Penguin will be unveiled.

Check out the new The Penguin poster below:

For those heading to SDCC this year, San Diego’s Bloom Nightclub will be transformed into Gotham’s Iceberg Lounge on July 26 and 27. The immersive experience will be filled with special effects, exclusive giveaways, and more. More details can be found by clicking here.

What do we know about The Penguin?

The Penguin will chronicle Cobb’s rise to power in Gotham’s seedy underbelly, giving fans a look into how he becomes the formidable crime kingpin he’s known to be. Joining Farrell are Rhenzy Feliz, Cristin Milioti, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Francois Chau, Carmen Ejogo, David H. Holmes, and more.

The 8-episode series is written by showrunner Lauren LeFranc, with Craig Zobel directing the first two episodes. Executive producers are The Batman’s Dylan Clark and Matt Reeves, Farrell, LeFranc, Daniel Pipski, Adam Kassanand, and Rafi Crohn. It is a joint project between 6th and Idaho, DC Entertainment, Dylan Clark Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.
