After Star Wars fans review-bombed Leslye Headland’s The Acolyte series, another group of Star Wars fans that actually like the show are campaigning for a second season.
There are a lot of posts on X right now with fans calling for a renewal with #RenewTheAcolyte currently tending on the social media platform.
I included some of the X posts below and it seems like the majority of fans want the series renewed because of how “hot” the series leads, Amanda Stenberg and Manny Jacinto, are. The story doesn’t really matter when viewers are crushing on the cast.
I have no idea if this series will get a Season 2 renewal, but I’ve been hearing there’s a good chance that it will. I wouldn’t be surprised if it did get renewed.
Headland already has some ideas for Season 2 and I have no doubt that she’s been developing those ideas with her creative team in preparation for a possible Season 2 greenlight. We’ll just have to wait and see.
The last episode of Season 1 is set to premiere later tonight. After that, fan’s will have a better idea of what to expect from the future of the show.
