Christina Hall is headed for her third divorce after both she and her husband, Joshua Hall, rushed to court to end their two-and-a-half-year marriage.
While the 41-year-old Flip or Flop alum, who has starred in a bevy of HGTV shows since she and former co-star Tarek El Moussa, 42, ended their marriage after eight years and two kids, has yet to address the split, she and Joshua, 44, reportedly filed for divorce this week.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on July 16, Joshua filed for a dissolution of marriage on Tuesday in Orange County, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their separation date as July 8. It is also being stated that while Christina’s filing has not yet been processed, she filed for divorce on Monday.
In Joshua’s filing, he requested alimony from Christina and for the court to block her from requesting support from him. He also noted that he wants both himself and Christina to walk away from the relationship with what they came in with.
As for their work together with HGTV and the Discovery Network, Joshua wants the court to grant him all rights to any series or specials they produced as a team, the latest of which is expected to begin airing on HGTV in 2025.
As for a potential prenup, Christina and Joshua, who got married in Hawaii in 2022, don’t seem to have one, nor do they share any children.
At the time of their Hawaii ceremony, Christina shared a post on her Instagram page, telling fans, “Shared vows in front of family and our close friends. Everything in life has led me to where I am right now, which is exactly where I want to be. My dream man on the dreamiest island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an amazing night filled with love.”
Christina and Joshua began dating after her divorce from Ant Anstead in 2021. As fans may recall, Christina and Ant were married for three years and share one child, four-year-old Hudson. Christina also shares two older children, daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with Tarek.
Oddly enough, news of Christina and Josh’s impending divorce comes just weeks after she gushed over their marriage to E! News, saying that the key to their successful marriage was “being communicative.”
“Keep communication open and then having alone time when we can, whether it’s date night, going on little trips—just things like that,” she said of their secret to happiness, further noting that she didn’t feel the need to make any major changes in the near future.
“I love my family, I love doing these shows. So I feel like everything’s going really well,” she alleged. “We’re in a good rhythm right now and I want it to stay that way. Just peace, calm, fun, and as little chaos as possible.”
In recent weeks, Christina shocked her fans when she announced a new show with her ex-husband Tarek and his wife Heather El Mouss, as the three even made a funny video to promote the new HGTV competition series – The Flip Off, on Instagram.
Joshua is also a part of the new series.
