Kathy Hilton reveals she had to “calm” Kyle Richards down after Mauricio Umansky was spotted kissing model Nakita Kahn.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have been separated for well over a year, but Kathy Hilton reveals, in a new interview, that Kyle seeing proof of Mauricio moving on was a “hard pill to swallow.”
While the estranged Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple have no plans to reconcile, the 65-year-old socialite admits that she had to “calm” down her youngest sister after the photos of Mauricio kissing Nakita Kahn went viral.
Kathy Hilton tells Page Six that Kyle had a tough time after seeing the photos of Mauricio and Nakita kissing at the airport in Mykonos.
“I think it was a hard pill to swallow seeing it,” the returning RHOBH friend of shared.
“So what I’m trying to do is just kind of calm her down a little bit. ‘You know this was bound to happen. You’ve been separated.’”
Kathy said she also had to remind Kyle that she and Mauricio agreed that he could do “what he wants to do” and that she was able to do the same amid their separation.
Despite Kyle knowing she was “eventually going to see something” like this occur it still hurt nonetheless.
After the photos of Mauricio and Nakita kissing went viral, Kyle removed the word “wife” from her Instagram bio.
As previously reported, the real estate mogul landed in Mykonos, Greece, last Tuesday, where he was spotted running into the arms of a beautiful blonde woman.
Photos show Mauricio Umansky and his mystery woman wrapped up in each other’s bodies, making it clear that they are definitely more than friends. However, it is unclear if the two are an official item or if their rendezvous was just a booty call.
The mystery woman was later identified as 33-year-old Nakita Kahn.
According to her website, Nakita describes herself as a “European-born, Los Angeles-based Nikita Kahn is an actress, model, and animal advocate passionate about creating a lifestyle full of beauty, meaning, and connection.”
She previously dated Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle. The exes began dating in 2010 when the then 19-year-old moved to Los Angeles from the Ukraine. Ellison was 66 at the time.
