Carrie Underwood Shamed In Metallic Shorts That Are Too ‘Tight’

Carrie Underwood had fans gushing over her rock-hard legs as she updated her Instagram with fresh photos this week, but the 40-year-old still fell under fire. Posting as she makes headlines for a 2025 return to American Idol as a judge, Carrie sizzled in leggy metallic shorts in her Monday stage photos, marking her Canton, OH performance and quickly seeing fans’ comments. Carrie, who paused her Las Vegas Residency last year to permit more touring, is still on the road, having recently visited both Hawaii and New York City. When a comment shaming Carrie gained likes, those loyal to the “Remind Me” hitmaker proved infuriated.

Showing off her unbelievably toned calves and thighs, the Grammy winner teamed her high-waisted shorts with a sleeveless black top, throwing a lightweight, sheer shirt over it and completing her ensemble with cowboy boots in metallic silver. Leaning to one side in her opening snap, Carrie closed her eyes, lifting her mic to her mouth as she serenaded the Midwestern crowd.

The gallery included various stage moments from the night, with nearly every photo accentuating the blonde’s jaw-dropping legs. Carrie, who is regularly touted as having the “best” legs in country music, told fans: “Had a fun night last night in Canton, Ohio at the #TomBensonHallOfFameStadium for the @profootballhof Such a great crowd! Thanks for coming out and singing along!!!”

Many users went straight for a compliment on Carrie Underwood’s killer figure. “I mean girllllll…. Those legs!” one said. “Legs on fire!!!!!!!! You’re gorgeous!” another replied. 18 fans, however, agreed with a damning reply reading: “Shorts keep getting tighter and tighter you are changing so much and not for the better!”

While one user said they’d “thought the same thing,” another disagreed. Firing back as they defended Carrie Underwood, they wrote: “You literally have 0 post and 26 followers. No one cares what you think.” Carrie and her famous legs are so popular, they’re even partially responsible for the success of the singer’s Fit52 workout app. In 2020, Carrie expanded her grip on the fitness empire, launching her app five years after dropping her CALIA athleisurewear clothing line.
