In a Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion preview, the team of Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, Margaret Josephs, and Melissa Gorga discussed their “PTSD” as they returned to Rails, the restaurant where the dramatic finale took place. Jennifer Fessler, who later joined them (and was greeted poorly) called them a “room” of “snakes.”
In another room was the team of Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, and Jackie Goldschneider – who admitted in the finale that she once met with the ex of Teresa’s husband Luis Ruelas.
Unlike a tradition reunion, this was a watch party for the finale. During the finale, a cast-wide screaming argument broke out, and Danielle threw a pitcher at Aydin, who insulted her husband’s body. The separate rooms represent the opposing sides of the cast.
“The good news is we don’t have to sit across anybody we can’t stomach,” said Margaret to Danielle, in a preview for the reunion special, via @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram.
Rachel said she had “PTSD” coming back to the restaurant, and Danielle agreed. Rachel shared she hasn’t spoken to Fessler since the finale, and Danielle declared that Fessler “should apologize” to Rachel for her actions in the season.
Danielle also revealed that she hasn’t spoken to Teresa since December or January. They were supposed to get together for dinner around that time, but Teresa posted a picture of the cast – with Danielle, Melissa, Rachel, and Margaret’s faces scratched out. This triggered Danielle to take “a step back” from Teresa, though they were formerly communicating.
Rewatching the scene of Aydin accusing Danielle of using money from her charity event, Danielle reacted by calling her castmate a “f**king losing.”
When Fessler showed up late to the reunion, Danielle immediately called her out for supporting Aydin in the season.
“I think you need to calm down. I just got here,” said Fessler, who was friends with both sides throughout filming. “Cause I don’t have to sit in a room like this with snakes. I can sit in another room with snakes that are nice.”
Fessler then sarcastically expressed that she should have “kissed” Rachel for greeting her. Later on, Fessler said she regretted defending Aydin, who “absolutely pushed” Danielle during their argument earlier in the season.
The clip eventually switched to Teresa and Aydin’s side as they pleasantly greeted Jackie, who revealed in the finale that she met with Teresa’s ex.
“I’m not excited to watch the finale but tonight honestly, I’m not trashing anybody,” said Jackie. “I’m not interested in adding to the toxicity. My priority is who I’m really friends with … You guys are my real friends, and Jenn Fessler of course.”
Teresa indicated that Fessler “had her own opinion” in the season, but she “changed her mind” in interviews after the season wrapped as “Margaret got in her ear.”
When Dolores walked into Teresa’s room, Aydin said, “Yay! You picked the right room.”
“Of course. Where else would I go?” Dolores answered. “I come in peace. I want everyone to know I haven’t watched the show and I’m happy.”
“With a whole bunch of devils close by, we need to look like angels,” Aydin added of Dolores’ white dress.
According to Teresa, she and Danielle were fine until Danielle claimed in interviews that she had a problem with Teresa.
“Now, I have nothing to say to her,” said Teresa.
