In \"Surely You Can't Be Serious: The True Story of Airplane!\", Zuker, Zuker, and Abrahams reveal some of the scenes that they had to delete (because either they or the studio felt were too offensive). This is one of them: Jose Feliciano, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles as pilots for Air Poland. Understandable why they wound up deleting it (but pretty damn funny nevertheless). Gotta give credit to Jose Feliciano for agreeing to shoot the scene.
