Some fans are wondering whether gymnasts Simone Biles and Suni Lee might be a part of the Dancing With The Stars Season 33 cast. Those who follow DWTS will recall that both Simone and Suni appeared in past seasons of the popular ABC and Disney+ show. But given their resurgence after the 2024 Paris Olympics, this would be a good time for them to be contestants once again. Male gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik was announced as the first celebrity for this upcoming season, so it would make sense for the producers to be looking for other Olympians too. Here’s whether Simone Biles or Suni Lee might be announced as cast members of DWTS 2024.

What are the chances Simone Biles or Suni Lee will appear on DWTS 2024?

Simone Biles will mostly likely not appear on DWTS 2024 due to her busy schedule, but there’s a low possibility that Suni Lee could be a contestant on the show.

Biles is the main headliner for the Gold Over America Tour, which runs from September 17 to November 3 in cities all across the United States. And since DWTS 2024 is scheduled to begin on September 17, the idea that anyone, let alone Biles, would try to do both at the same time would be extremely daunting. This is why Nedoroscik, who was originally billed to be in the Gold Over America Tour, bowed out in favor of DWTS Season 33. Fellow female gymnasts Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles are also a part of the tour, so they will likely not be members of DWTS this year either.

As for Suni Lee, she was not announced for the Gold Over America Tour, so her schedule would seem to be open. Female gymnasts are strong draws for the show too. It should be noted that Nedoroscik signed with talent agency Smith & Saint, which also represents Suni.

That said, Suni might be deciding to take a break after the Olympics to rest and recover, especially given that she was diagnosed with a kidney disease in March 2023. The gymnast was also a contestant for DWTS Season 30 in 2021 with partner Sasha Farber, finishing in fifth place, so it might be too soon for her to appear as a contestant in 2024. On the other hand, her perseverance through the Olympics despite her medical condition is a great comeback story.
