Alexis Bellino was called out by Emily Simpson and Vicki Gunvalson on Instagram after suggesting Emily was two-faced during a recent interview.
Amid her whirlwind romance with Shannon Beador‘s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, 60, the 47-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star was targeted by Emily, 48, who suggested she was lacking self-awareness, and Vicki, 62, who told her to “go away” before reminding her of her lack of a career.
“The Emily that I knew before I joined back on the cast is not the Emily I’ve seen or worked with or had in my presence on the show as a cast member. So definitely shocked and a little appalled …. [wondering] what might actually be behind all of that,” Alexis had shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last week.
After a snippet of the interview was shared on Instagram by Comments by Bravo, Emily fought back, writing, “And the award for zero self-awareness goes to…”
Vicki also threw in her two cents, saying, “Go away Alexis! You have no place on RHOC other than trying to hurt Shannon. Go back to your job … Oh that’s right YOU don’t work.”
Although Alexis has yet to directly respond to Emily and Vicki’s shade, she did address her critics with a series of posts shared to her Instagram Story over the weekend.
“Talk away … as we boat away and live our life,” she captioned one of her posts, as seen in a screenshot shared by Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
While Alexis and John have been dating for less than a year, she told The Daily Dish in June that an engagement is “around the corner.”
“Honestly, I think he’s trying to throw me off. I know it’s coming because we did go ring shopping together. So it’s definitely around the corner,” Alexis shared. “That could be tomorrow. It could be six months from now. I honestly don’t know, because he is throwing a lot of little things in my direction.”
“I think he’s just trying to keep me confused,” she added. “So I don’t know… I mean, America will know when it happens. We won’t be quiet about it.”
Alexis also addressed her allegedly impending engagement to John in the midseason teaser for RHOC, which was released earlier this month.
“We’re ring shopping,” she told Heather Dubrow, 55, and Tamra Judge, 56.
