SPIN Returns to Print for the First Time in 12 Years

We’re back! After 12 years, SPIN has returned as a print magazine, with Lainey Wilson serving as the first country music artist on the cover in our 39-year history. Other SPIN favorites featured in the issue include Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Rakim and Guided by Voices’ Robert Pollard. There’s also an extensive feature penned by Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery on the band’s tumultuous journey, a deep diver into Seattle’s underground punk scene and the return of our revered reviews section.

Rising stars such as Suki Waterhouse, Miller Campbell, Kenny Mason and Birthday Girl DC appear prominently, while comedian and political commentator Bill Maher sits for an interview with SPIN founder Bob Guccione Jr.

You can find SPIN magazine at a record store near you (if not, don’t hesitate to request it), newsstands, Barnes & Noble, Hudson News, Books A Million, Indigo/Chapters (Canada), Hudson News and many more fine retailers. Readers can also conveniently subscribe here.

“This is more than just a return to our roots; it’s a bold leap into the future,” says SPIN CEO Jimmy Hutcheson. “We’re bringing back the raw, unfiltered spirit of SPIN that resonated with so many readers, and we’re doing it with a modern twist that reflects the evolving landscape of music and culture. It’s exciting to see others like The Onion, Nylon and even LIFE going back into print. In today’s noisy digital ecosystem, print plays a fun and new role for all readers of all ages.”
