What happens in Everybody Still Hates Chris teaser trailer?

The teaser provides fans with the first look at Everybody Still Hates Chris, featuring animated version of the Johnson family. It also includes a preview of Chris Rock‘s newest voiceovers, as he returns as the revival’s narrator. Besides Rock, original stars Terry Crews and Tichinia Arnold are also reprising their respective roles as Chris’ parents Julius and Rochelle. The original series ran on-air from 2005-2009 for four seasons.

“The revival will once again feature Rock’s Adult Chris narrating stories inspired by his experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s,” reads the logline.

Everybody Still Hates Chris is executive produced by Rock and showrunner Sanjay Shah. Additional voice cast includes Tim Johnson Jr. as young Chris, Ozioma Akagha as Chris’ sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Chris’ brother Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore as Chris’ only friend Greg. It is executive produced by Ali LeRoi, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina. Big Mouth producer Titmouse serves as the animation studio for the series.

‘Bring Them Down’ is probably one of the best films I’ve ever seen. A brutal and believable examination of old family grudges in rural communities. Superbly shot. Sharp and to the point. As beautiful a piece of art as it is a moral reminder of how anger can lose everyone the battle.
