Carving up dancefloors with ruthless precision, Marshmello and Viperactive are taking no prisoners with their new collaboration, “In The Cut.”

Opening with an intense gallop of percussion, the track is an immediate adrenaline rush aided by Marshmello’s signature, euphoria-drenched synths. A wave of crisp melodies crashes through, setting the stage for its exhilarating twists and turns. As stadium claps stack in the buildup, the tension becomes palpable, paving the way for a frenetic trap drop.

Barking bass shots and soaring synths hit with full force, turning the track into a dancefloor-ready weapon. It’s certainly no wonder Marshmello has been using it to send crowds into a frenzy at recent shows. “It’s been great having Viperactive on these past few Joytime Collective shows,” he said, hinting at how well their dynamic has been working. “We’ve been working on this one for a bit and it’s become an absolute weapon in our sets.”

Viperactive holds his own throughout the track, going toe-to-toe with Mello’s production finesse. The end result is a seamless fusion that allows each artists’ strengths to shine, with Viperactive reinforcing himself as a major name to watch in the bass music scene. Following a big collaboration with Flosstradamus, this latest high-profile track shows that he’s more than ready for the spotlight.

Meanwhile, Marshmello continues to bet big on the next generation of talent. His recent teaser of an upcoming collaboration with EDM.com Class of 2024 star Hedex suggests he and his Joytime Collective will continue bringing fresh talent to the forefront.
