Worse yet, there’s plenty of Body & Soul drama, which means the silly soap-within-a-soap gets significant air time this week.

Still, there’s plenty to look forward to, even if these stories aren’t it.

Alex and Stephanie or Alex & Chanel?

Alex And Chanel Are Friends Again, Which Could Mean Trouble

Alex has been gravitating toward Stephanie again for a while. That’s why I thought this Johnny/Chanel/Alex storyline was ridiculous.

I also don’t like that this storyline is a predictable part of the silliest meta storyline on TV, with all this drama coming from Chanel playing Alex’s lover on Body & Soul.

The good news is that Johnny will make an attempt to apologize sincerely for accusing Chanel of wanting to have sex with Alex for real.

She should apologize, too, for flying off the handle that Johnny did his job and went to the writer with his notes about the proposed story.

Either way, this isn’t the end of this silly love triangle even though it should be.

Chanel is happily married, or at least, she was happy until this nonsense started.

Alex is interested in Stephanie.

So why are Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-30-24 insisting on making something out of nothing?

If you’re gonna do a love triangle, do one that makes sense. Just saying.

Hattie’s Ultimatum Causes Chaos

The Diva Demands Her Way, But No One Else Likes It

Deidre Hall always has fun playing free-spirited Hattie, especially when interacting with Hall’s more serious, straight-laced Dr. Marlena Evans.

But enough is enough.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-30-24 say that Body and Soul is headed for disaster just as it starts taping because Hattie wants her way or the highway.

Why can’t the director, writers, or producers tell Hattie to take a white and get someone decent in there? This Hattie business is more than a tired TV trope; it’s purely obnoxious!

Johnny Tries To Make Up With Chanel

Later In The Week, He Gets Disappointing News From Kate

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-30-24, Johnny will apologize to Chanel for their ridiculous fight, but that isn’t likely to be the end of this problem.

For one thing, Kate rejects his request the next day, which most likely means plenty of love scenes for Alex and Chanel.

Johnny’s jealousy will likely grow, and Chanel’s made it clear she won’t tolerate him going to their bosses about scene changes involving Alex, even though that’s part of his job description.

Only in Salem could there be this much drama surrounding a fake soap opera on a soap!

I hope it doesn’t include Johnny and Chanel breaking up or Kate being blackmailed by the likes of Hattie, both of which are ridiculous.

Stephanie’s Happy With Alex… For Now

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 9-30-24 Say She Confides In Jada About Him

Stephanie gravitating toward Alex again is good news for Johnny and Chanel. It should be, anyway.

However, if Chanel and Alex become an item instead of just pretending to be one, this might set the stage for a double heartbreak.

It seems early for Stephanie to seek out a new partnership, considering the “love of her life,” Everett/Bobby, died not that long ago.

She should bond with Chad over losing a significant other to death. But what does this Alex/Chanel thing do to the way she keeps bouncing back and forth between Chad and Alex?

Also, what will happen when Chad finally wakes up to the plot twist that Abigail is not who she claims to be? Will he rush into Stephanie’s arms then?

Holly and Sophia Fight Over Tate

Holly Is Tired Of Her Ex-Bestie Comforting Her Ex-Boyfriend

This twisted love triangle makes more sense than the Alex/Chanel/Johnny one.

Holly, Sophia, and Tate are all teenagers who think their first love has to be their only love, and former best friends fighting over a boy is a typical soap plot.

Still, the situation is complicated by the whole mess involving Brady being accused of getting drunk and running over Holly’s aunt.

Tate kicked Holly out of the house after their last fight, so are these two even a thing anymore?

EJ will also likely do everything he can to get in the way, as he wants to manipulate Holly for his own purposes, and Fiona has decided to befriend Sophia for some reason. That should add to the drama!

Kristen Fights Harder For Brady Than He Does For Himself

She’s As Determined To Prove Him Innocent As He Is To Go To Prison

Brady believes Sarah’s lie and is in full self-punishment mode, determined to go to prison and get it over with.

Unfortunately, that leaves an opening for Kristen to sneak back into his life, as she’s equally determined to get him out of trouble.

Kristen is one of those charming villains we would never want to hang out with in real life, and Brady should know better, too.

Before he got tangled up with Fiona, he knew that Kristen should be only a co-parent to him, and he told her in no uncertain terms that she had no chance with him.

But if she saves his life by proving for once and for all that he did not run over Sarah that fateful night, that could change. Brady and Kristen have been down this road far too many times, so let’s hope we don’t have to go there again.

Fiona Confronts Sarah About Sarah’s Lies

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 9-30-24 Suggest She Will Ruin Her Own Plan

It’s super annoying that Fiona is letting anxiety get the better of her.

I want the truth to come out. Brady doesn’t deserve to sit in jail for Fiona’s crime. But she can’t have it both ways.

Either she tells the truth, and she and Brady split for the sake of drama, or she lets him take the fall for her crime. It’s that simple.

The truth will come out eventually, and she’s likely to lose everyone she’s clinging so hard to.

She and Brady have already split for the sake of drama because Xander doesn’t like them dating. So, what exactly is the point of trying to hold onto Brady now by playing both sides?

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 9-30-24 Raise The Stakes For Fake Abigail

Julie Makes A Suggestion That’ll Make Everything Worse

Bad news for Chad and his family: Julie pushes him to introduce the kids to “Abigail.”

No. Just no.

First of all, Thomas is likely going to figure out this woman is phony, and then she may do what Fake Dee did on Neighbours and blackmail a child into keeping his mouth shut.

If that doesn’t happen and the truth comes out some other way, it’ll be devastating for Chad’s kids, especially if they’ve gotten attached to their “resurrected mom.”

It’s bad enough that Chad is so desperate for Abigail to be alive that he’ll believe a bunch of obvious lies and a phony DNA test without bringing the kids into it. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Color me underwhelmed by this spoiler.

Dimeras don’t sue. They get even in other, more mobster-like ways.

Stefan’s lived through far worse with EJ.

Hell, he just survived Gabi acting like she was on a classic successful TV comedy by putting duct tape dividers all over the house and forcing him to stay on his side.

Besides, what grounds does EJ have for a lawsuit when the worst thing that happened from Stefan’s accusations is that Paulina huffed and puffed before deciding not to fire him?

He’s even gotten a closer relationship with Stefan’s ex-wife out of the feud. So where is the lawsuit-worthy harm here?
