Before Donald Trump‘s rally began in Saginaw, Michigan, a wild brawl broke out and saw a Black Trump supporter getting attacked by a group of White supporters.

On Thursday (October 3), Donald Trump held a campaign rally at the Ryder Center at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan; but before the former President could even take the stage, a wild brawl broke out among several men — including a Black Trump supporter and two White supporters.
During Trump’s afternoon campaign stop in the battleground state, at least three men in ‘Make America Great Again’ shirts and hats were seen in a brawl. In a viral video, posted by Anna Liz Nichols to X, formerly Twitter, two White men are seen attacking a Black Trump supporter, throwing him to the asphalt.

According to Nichols, who is a reporter for the nonprofit news site Michigan Advance, the men involved were vendors selling Trump and MAGA (Make America Great Again) merchandise, and other Trump memorabilia. Nichols also reported that the brawl broke out at approximately 10:20 a.m. outside of the line of more than 1,000 rally attendees.
One of the White men jumps on top of the Black man and starts throwing punch after punch to his head. The second White man, who is being pulled back by a third White man, escapes his clutches and comes running up to the two men on the ground. The second White man starts throwing punches at the Black man’s face before the third White man who was trying to hold him back successfully pulls him away.

A second Black man is also seen on the video from start to finish. At the beginning of the clip, he is seen being pushed away by the second White man before he goes to attack the Black man on the floor underneath the first White man. Still remaining close to the brawl, the second Black eventually jumps back in to push the first White man off of the first Black man.
Once the first Black man was able to get up, he ran towards the two White men attacking him as the brawl continued. The video then shows the Black man gripping up the first White man who attacked him, punching him, and trying to throw him to the ground. However, at this point, onlookers have made so much commotion that a security guard comes bulldozing in and tackles the Black man. More people come rushing over to break everybody up and find out what happened.
According to Michigan Advance, after the incident, all of the vendors were removed from the premises before the rally was set to start at 3 p.m. The Trump campaign sent a text that read, “The Trump campaign reports that all of the individuals involved in the altercation were vendors, none were attendees and all were ejected from the premises.”
