Footage surfaces of NBA G League player RJ Hampton verbally abusing the mother of his child while seemingly admitting to previously assaulting her.
R.J. Hampton is currently playing in the G League after being a former first-round pick but instead of making headlines for his skills, he’s in hot water over a viral video.
On October 7, a video taken by his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Jeffcoat made its rounds on social media showcasing Jeffcoat and Hampton in a hotel lobby disagreeing after Jeffcoat allegedly traveled “11 hours” with their son. In the video what should have been a happy reunion between father and son, quickly went sour.
According to TMZ, Jeffcoat posted the video on her TikTok for the world and confirmed that it took place in an Oklahoma hotel lobby. The now-viral video clearly shows Hampton calling his ex a b*** in front of their 13-month-old son.
Not only that, but elsewhere in the video Tiffany tells Hampton she has bruises on her arms that “came from your hands.” Surprisingly R.J. responded with “Of course they did,” before saying;
“Did I punch you, did I slap you?” as if that made it any better.
At another point in the video, Tiffany alleges that her mother is “more of a parent to their son” which leads to Hampton saying that he doesn’t care if the Grandmother is “dead or alive.”
“Stop, don’t try to play the victim right now,” says Hampton in the video. “I’ll take him to my house, he has a dad. You went to Miami, you went out and your parents kept him. I don’t care if your mom is dead or alive, shut up.”
Tiffany later alleged that Hampton “snatched” their son before taking off in his car.
After fans begged for an update, Tiffany shared on TikTok that she still hadn’t located her son or his father and said she was stranded in Oklahoma with no help from the police.
She later posted an update on her IG Stories of her son sleeping with a caption that read, “Thank you to everyone who reached out.”
