Brittany Cartwright started secretly hooking up with Julian Sensley, a friend of her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, shortly after their separation.
According to Page Six, The Valley star began a “casual” physical relationship with “basketball player-turned-actor Julian Sensley,” who previously worked at Lisa Vanderpump‘s bar TomTom, in February.
If you recall, earlier this year, Jax Taylor sent out a cryptic tweet about Brittany Cartwright hooking up with someone amid their split.
“You may want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months,” Jax shared in June.
Brittany Cartwright and the 42-year-old only hung out privately. Their romance only lasted a short while and is now over.
An insider reveals that Julian Sensley and his now-fiancée, who share one young child together, had been “off and on” when he and Brittany were hooking up as they were “going through a rough time.”
Julian has also been linked to Brittany Cartwright’s friend and former Vanderpump Rules co-star Lala Kent.
Turns out that Julian appeared in the background of The Valley season one. On Instagram, Taste of Reality shared screenshots showing Julian hanging out with Brittany and other cast members.
A Bravo fan, who wanted to remain anonymous, shared some inside scoop with Taste of Reality:
“You are right about Jax/Brittany/Julian. Me and some girlfriends met Julian at Jax’s bar when we were there in January. He absolutely told us he dated Lala in the past.”
The fan continued, “Flash forward a few months later, Jax comes to Edmonton for a VanderBrunch. When he came to our table I mentioned we popped by his bar in January but that he was MIA. Then casually mentioned that we ended up sitting with his friend Julian. He responded, ‘Oh him and Brittany are sleeping together” with a wild look in his eyes.”
“I then started to spot Julian in scenes of The Valley next to Brittany,” added the fan.
Sources say Jax “went berserk” when he found out about Brittany’s fling with Julian, noting that the news contributed to his desire to see mental health treatment. The Vanderpump Rules OG spent the majority of August in an inpatient mental health facility for “serious anger issues” and to “get better” for the sake of his and Brittany’s 3-year-old son, Cruz. During treatment Jax was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. He also learned that he is a narcissist.
This drama is set to play out on season 2 of The Valley.
In late August, Brittany filed for divorce after five years of marriage, citing irreconcilable difference. She addressed the news on her and Jax’s podcast, telling their listeners: “It’s taken me many, many years to get to this point where I gained enough courage and strength to do what’s best for me, get myself out of a toxic relationship and ultimately see my worth.”
The highly anticipated second season of They Valley wrapped filming earlier this summer and is expected to premiere on Bravo in late 2024 or 2025.
