Fans Notice Something Missing In Jen Affleck’s Recent TikTok

Affleck, who has yet to confirm if she’s coming back in season 2 of the Hulu hit series, is no stranger to fans voicing their opinions on her relationship with husband Zac. After viewing her latest TikTok video, many dropped into the comments to share their speculation on the relationship.

Many fans are speculating that Jen and Zac might be headed for splitsville based on her most recent TikTok video and one particular detail.

As she’s dancing around with her children, fans noticed that Jen is not wearing her wedding ring. That one little detail prompted tons of fans to drop into the comment section to point it out.

“The way we’re all hoping that ringless finger means you’re FREEEEE!” one fan wrote. Another added, “Not wearing your ring?? Does this mean a dream came trueeeeeee.”

Viewers of the hit reality show know that there have been some issues with how Zac treats Jen and fans of the show aren’t thrilled about it.

Season 1 ended with Jen struggling with the fact that they were going to relocate so Zac could go to medical school. Also at the end of the first season, Jen called fellow MomTok mom Jessi Ngatikaura and told her some future plans that shocked many.

“Jen told me that she’s leaving MomTok because of Zac,” Ngatikaura told Demi Engemann, another one of the popular Mormon moms on the show. “He doesn’t want her associated with us. I am really sad that this is just a continuous pattern that’s not getting better.”

There were also some other issues that were highlighted in season 1, which has fans concerned for Jen and leaving comments about her leaving Zac.

“This looks like I’m a single and free dance,” one viewer wrote in the comments of Jen’s recent TikTok video. Another said, “Jen with no ring and being in a new place?! Hope everything is ok! You deserve to be happy!”

An inside source told PEOPLE that rumors of a breakup are untrue. The insider also explained that Jen often goes without her wedding ring and it’s not something that bothers Zac.

Shortly before season 2 was confirmed, Jen shared a TikTok video that made it seem like she would be a part of a second season if it happens, but as of now, it’s not looking like she’s confirming anything.

Captioned, “Stay tuned…#season2,” fans were hopeful that she would still be a part of MomTok if a second season became a reality. In the video, Jen is mouthing, “I’m not embarrassed by anything I went through. What may be tea for you is testimony for me. So if you’re gonna talk about what broke me, invite me to the table.”

Many fans left comments about Zac and his part in the season 1 drama.

“Zac gonna be puttin on a performance for s2,” one person wrote. Another added, “You deserve to be with someone who matches your energy. You’re such a beautiful soul.”

About a week ago, the news that the series would be getting a second season was announced and fans couldn’t be more excited for the Mormon drama to continue.

The series follows the lives of a group of Utah Mormon moms – Taylor Frankie Paul, Layla Taylor, Whitney Leavitt, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Jennifer Affleck.  Shortly after Hulu announced the second season, six of the eight MomTok moms appeared in announcement videos on TikTok, with both Jen and Whitney Leavitt missing.

It didn’t take long for fans to notice that Jen and Leavitt were missing from the excitement.

“Where’s the drama going to come from if Whitney and Jen are gone?” one fan wrote. Another speculated on how things will go saying, “I’m calling it now Whitney and Jen will show up in season 2. I may be wrong, but I have a feeling they will. Not at first, but they will pop up I bet lol.”

Fans of the show don’t have to worry about the “villain” of season 1 not returning for the second season, because she recently shared she that’s she’s returned to the group chat.

In a recently shared TikTok video captioned, “I think season 2 is about to get wild,” Leavitt eases any fear of her not returning for the second season.

After the voice over says, “What would happen if you just called Taylor up and say what? Just, you know, what happened?” Leavitt is seen texting the infamous MomTok group chat. At the top of that text, Taylor wrote, “Hey guys added Whit back to the chat!”

Leavitt responds, “Excited to film season 2 with all of you. I know there’s tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together.”

Season 1 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is currently streaming on Hulu. Filming for season 2 recently began, and it’s being reported that season 2 will be released in spring 2025.
