Jen Shah is closer than ever to freedom. The RHOSLC alum’s prison sentence has been reduced for a second time. Get all the details.

Page Six reports that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City OG’s prison sentence has been reduced for a second time since entering prison in February 2023.

Jen Shah‘s prison sentence has been reduced by eight months. She is now set to be released from Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas on December 19, 2027. The 51-year-old was previously set to be released on August 30, 2028.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City OG was arrested in 2021 as part of a nationwide telemarketing scheme targeting the elderly. Initally, the mom of two pleaded not guilty in the case and insisted she was innocent of the crimes she was being accused of.

In July 2022, Jen Shah pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.

She reported to prison in February 2023. A month later, her prison sentence was reduced by one year.

Jen is still on the hook to pay her victims $6.7 million in restitution.

The 51-year-old was an original Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member when the franchise debuted on Bravo in November 2020. She starred in the franchise for three seasons before exiting the show after pleading guilty to her crimes.

Recently, RHOSLC star Lisa Barlow called Jen “harmless” despite her crimes and revealed that Jen contacted her via a mutual friend. According to Lisa, Jen wants to be friends with her and Meredith Marks when she’s released from prison.

“Oh my gosh, jail mail! No, but she did tell [Murilo] that when she gets out of prison, she’d like to have a relationship with me and Meredith [Marks]. So, that was like our jail mail,” Lisa Barlow said with a laugh on Scheana Shay’s Scheananigans podcast.

“We did exchange one text on Mother’s Day where she said ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ and I said it back,” Lisa explained. “But you know, Jen’s crazy, but she’s harmless at the end of the day unless you’re elderly.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
