Producing house music with bass that bites back, Merow has released her debut EP on Martin Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS.

The Dutch DJ and producer pulls no punches in BASS RELATED VOL. 1, which features three tracks. Dripping with adrenaline, each one pulsates with dark, driving rhythms tailored for peak-time dancefloor moments.

From the animalistic energy of “The Moshpit” to the raw, unrelenting rhythms of “To The Beat,” Merow’s gritty production grabs you by the throat and drags you into the heart of a warehouse rave. While firmly rooted in bass house, she incorporates subtle influences from UK garage music, adding depth and texture.

The EP’s cohesive sound demonstrates a clear vision for Merow’s musical identity. She says the project is the upshot of her first international summer tour, a personal triumph that’s led to her most creative work yet.

“Working on this EP during my tour was such a special process for me,” Merow said in a statement shared with EDM.com. “I had the chance to experiment with new sounds, combining bass elements with different grooves. One of the most exciting things was creating a tempo-change track with a UK Garage influence, which was something I hadn’t done before.”
