Hugh Jackman & Sutton Foster ‘In Love’ Amid Her Divorce From Her Husband

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are reportedly an item. They are said to have stepped up their relationship after Foster filed for divorce from her screenwriter husband, Ted Griffin.

Meanwhile, the “X-Men” star has been separated from his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, since 2023 after 27 years of marriage.

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have yet to confirm the relationship rumors despite close sources already linking them.

Jackman and Foster are reportedly going strong in their rumored relationship after  “falling in love.”

While it is unclear when exactly the two linked up romantically, sources claim that it was around the time they starred on Broadway’s “The Music Man.”

The insiders have now shared that the duo’s connection has blossomed deeply, and they potentially see themselves going the distance.

“They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” an insider shared about the rumored couple, perPage Six.

However, neither Jackman nor Foster have confirmed their relationship amid the rumors. According to sources, the duo prefers to keep things under the radar for now.

The insider continued, “They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge.”

The romance rumors come after Foster filed for divorce from her husband Griffin on Tuesday in a New York County Supreme Court.

According to the filing, the divorce was uncontested, meaning that Foster and Griffin aren’t divided over any issues, such as child support, property sharing, and alimony.

They got married in October 2014 in a private ceremony in California. However, they did not welcome any children, although they adopted one at some point during their marriage.

Neither of them has revealed the reason why they parted ways.

Meanwhile, Jackman has long been separated from Deborra-Lee Furness. At the time of their separation, they released a statement to the public.

“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” they said in their announcement.

Two years prior, Jackman raved about collaborating with Foster on “Music Man” during an interview with the New York Theatre Guide.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve done a book musical — actually, 18 years since The Boy From Oz,” Jackman told the outlet about his Broadway debut.

He added, “I’ve been lucky enough to do films, and I’ve done some plays, but there’s nothing like doing a musical on Broadway. And this is something that I’ve wanted to do for over 20 years, and doing it with this cast in particular — Sutton Foster is just a dream.”

It was the first time the duo collaborated, with Jackman playing the lead role of Harold Hill and Foster starring as Marian Paroo.

The former co-stars are both known to have strong backgrounds in musical theatre despite being involved in other Hollywood film projects. Hughman has starred in productions like “The River,” “A Steady Rain,” and “The Boy From Oz.” Meanwhile, Foster has starred in the likes of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and “Anything Goes.”

In the past, Foster has also gushed about working with Jackman, explaining how she enjoyed working with him.

She told Vogue, “He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest working man, incredibly kind, and generous — and all of that is true.”

The actress added that their friendship has deepened since their collaboration on Broadway, a scenario that she did not expect.

She added, “He disarms everyone, and he doesn’t make anything about him. And he’s now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise because you usually go into these things thinking.”

Although Furness and Jackman are no longer together, she still loves the actor. According to the Daily Mail, the actress finds it “very daunting” to “pursue life” without the “X-Men” star by her side.

However, “leaning into her work” has made it easier for Furness and has been her “saving grace.”

A source said, “It has been very daunting to pursue life without Hugh; she still loves him even though she knows that their romance is over.”

They continued, “It is every emotion every day. Happy, sad, mad, confused – and she even purposely tries to forget it is even over [sometimes], whatever makes her feel better at the moment. She is taking it day by day but don’t feel too bad for her. She is also a very strong woman and will get through it.”

The source told the news outlet that despite how challenging the separation has been for Furness, she is still “excited” to find “love again.”
