Sony Pictures has officially set Marvel’s Spider-Man 4 for July 24, 2026. Tom Holland is set to return to reprise his role and Shang Chi filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton directing.
Holland recently revealed that he and Zendaya read a draft of the script and he expressed his excitement about the direction that the film will take the story.
Holland said: “We have a creative and a pitch and a draft, which is excellent. It needs work but the writers are doing a great job. I read it 3 weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me.
“Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room, like this is a real movie worthy of fans respect.”
I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes after the crazy events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Things are going to get really interesting with Spider-Man’s continuing story.
There are a lot of rumors and reports about what the movie might entail, but we won’t know for sure what the story will entail until Marvel starts sharing some official details, and that’s not going to happen for a long time.
