The Shade Room is saddened to report that Ms. Jacky Oh, birth name Jacklyn Smith, has passed away at age 32. Jacky was a longtime romantic partner to comedian and actor DC Young Fly.
MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” confirmed the tragic news on their verified Facebook page on Thursday (June 1). The full statement says:
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.” – A BET Media Group Spokesperson”
The couple reportedly met in 2015 while Jacky was working on “Wild ‘N Out.” Since starting their relationship, DC and the now-beauty entrepreneur welcomed three children–all under the age of 10. They have two daughters, Nova and Nala, and a son named Prince, who was born in 2022.

At this time, Jacky’s cause of death is unknown. Sources who allegedly spoke to TMZ and cosmetic surgery gossip blog, Surgeon Made Curves, have said the influencer was in Miami for a scheduled mommy makeover surgery with Dr. Zachary Okhah.
Following the Instagram feed post, Surgeon Made Curves released another statement about Jacky’s passing on their Insta-Story.
“As much as we would all like to believe this to be one big lie…it has been 100% confirmed,” the post read.
A source revealed to The Shade Room that DC Young Fly received the news while filing for “Wild ‘N Out” in Atlanta and that production on the show was halted as a result. However, he has not publicly responded to reports of Jacky’s passing.
Last month, Ms. Jacky Oh shared the results of a Mother’s Day photoshoot, honoring her role as a mommy.
“I do a lot . but being a mommy is my favorite. God chose me 3X. I promise I never take it for granted. I’m so damn blessed, man! Happy Mother’s Day mommys :),” the caption read.
