Significant developments have emerged in the investigation into Liam Payne’s death, as authorities in Buenos Aires have arrested three individuals suspected of being involved.
According to TMZ, three individuals were charged on Thursday, and at least one of the suspects was employed at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, the location where Liam passed away. Reports indicate that one of the suspects is considered a “friend” who was present in Liam’s hotel room but left before his death. This individual has been charged with abandonment of a person.

The second suspect is a hotel housekeeper, whom authorities suspect may have delivered drugs to Liam inside a Dove soap box. As previously reported, police had been investigating the soap box discovered in the room, as only housekeeping staff have access to that particular supply. The third suspect is believed to be the drug supplier. Both this individual and the hotel staff member are facing charges related to drug distribution.
This update follows the tragic incident three weeks ago when the 31-year-old One Direction singer fell from a third-floor balcony at the hotel.
As previously mentioned, the singer was in Buenos Aires to attend a concert by his former bandmate Niall Horan at the Movistar Arena earlier in October and decided to extend his stay with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.

Unfortunately, his trip took a heartbreaking turn when Kate, an American influencer, decided to head back to the United States without Liam, leaving him to spend time alone in Argentina’s capital.
The singer was reportedly behaving erratically prior to his fall from the hotel balcony. An initial autopsy report revealed the presence of several substances in his system, including cocaine, crack, ketamine, ecstasy, and a type of crystal meth known as “cristal.”
