A24 has released a new featurette for the upcoming horror movie Heretic, which centers on two Mormon sister missionaries who find themselves in a horrific and twisted experience after they knock on the wrong door.
The featurette focuses on Hugh Grant’s character and the dark side that he brings to it. His character thrusts these two missionaries into a horrific and nightmarish situation.
I recently had the opportunity to watch the movie and he delivers an incredible and mesmerizing performance that will make audiences feel uncomfortable.
The movie also stars Chloe East (The Fabelmans) and Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets). In the film, the two Mormon sister missionaries attempt to convert a man who turns out to be far more sinister than they could have anticipated.
The official logline reads: “Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.”
This looks like a great and creepy horror flick and its one that I’m looking forward to watching. It’s going to be interesting to see how this story plays out and comes to an end.
Heretic comes from A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who wrote the script and will direct the film.
A24 will release Heretic in theaters on November 15, 2024.
