Jason Charles Miller

As a solo artist, Jason makes gritty rock and country hybrid music from the center of Los Angeles. His new album, Knives in the Dark, appeals to alternative and country tastes. This is his fifth album, made with notable producer Matt Hyde, who has worked on music for The Deftones, Parkway Drive, and Slayer.

Billy Ray Cyrus and guitarist Reeves Gabrels have praised his unique blend of Southern Rock and alternative music’s grit. His music has appeared in popular video games like Final Fantasy XIV and Cyberpunk 2077– making his other-worldly video for his new single, “Digging in the Dust”, all the more fitting for his steely image.

     2.   Staunch Moderates

Staunch Moderates, founded by Gregory T. Simmons, uses music and films to unify society by promoting messages of harmony in response to political polarization. The movement has created multi-genre albums blending art and inspiring messages.

Their documentary, Mission Peace, has boosted the group as a socially conscious content producer. The movement focuses on education through entertainment, offering live performances and philosophy courses to help people understand each other better.

     3.   Steven Knee

This New York-based artist is breaking through with his new single “This World is Your World.” The song offers a modern take on American folk legend Woody Guthrie’s classic “This Land is Our Land,” addressing pervasive social and economic issues.

Keene hopes the song will inspire global unity and acceptance for all. Critics praise Keene for reviving the heart of Guthrie’s messages, offering a socially conscious perspective in musical activism. Fans of classic folk music will find Keene’s music comforting and socially-forward.

     4.   Society of the Silver Cross

With their new album, Festival of Invocations, this alternative indie band creates an eerie, hypnotic spell that pulls listeners into a dark, cinematic world.

The Seattle-based band creates textured soundscapes that stand out in the Gothic scene. Their unique style feels both ancient and futuristic. Their sound, appropriately dubbed “Yogic Metal,” blends a meditative yet powerful experience for listeners.

Tracks like “Wife of the Sea” and “Circle Cast Around” combine masculine and feminine vocals and pounding rhythms to create a dreamlike, cathartic experience that captures the band’s dichotomy of sound.

     5.   Dylan Rockoff

Opening for Bon Jovi in 2017 during their This House is Not For Sale Tour to New York City, Rockoff showcases his Nashville heart with a harmonica and guitar in hand and heartfelt, passionate vocals.

Rockoff’s song “Evergreen” is an honest look at what it means to enter young adulthood, heart in hand. Grab his vinyl and add his songs to your playlists, as Rockoff amounts to six-figure monthly listeners on Spotify.

     6.   Bava

If you were one of the 50,000 people who attended September’s Zedd In The Park event, then you’re no stranger to Bava, who appeared during Zedd’s headline set (and featured on his recent LP, Telos).

Bava is a Haitian-American singer who has collaborated with other LA artists. Her new release, Closure, features her soft voice and a captivating rhythmic beat.

“Closure almost feels like a rebirth for me. I could weave in the sonics of my Afro-Caribbean roots, which I hadn’t explored previously,” she says.

It’s easy to see why EDM fans of Zedd would love the hypnotic beats in Bava’s catchy music.

     7.   Ella Isaacson

LA songstress Ella Isaacson has re-invented herself with rock flare. She caught fire with the release of FMLYLM, co-written by Erick Serna.

Her latest single, “Penny Lane,” is an ode to rock and roll, complete with references to Twisted Sister and The Rolling Stones.

     8.   AJA

At just 20, Toronto native AJA has made a name for herself in pop music. Her latest hit, “Little Black Dress,” has hit radio stations across the US and gained fandom from listeners nationwide.

Her most popular music video, Red Button, showcases her strong vocals and a catchy beat. If you’re looking for what’s next in Pop music, watch AJA.

     9.   John Roberts

When he’s not voicing Linda Belcher from the EMMY Award-winning show Bob’s Burgers, John Roberts works on his music productions. He surprised fans in 2021 with the release of Lights Out featuring Debbie Harry of the 80s hit group Blondie.

More recently, he has released a single, “Something Ain’t Right”. The music video’s electric visuals and funky instrumentals were featured in Times Square and are now available on YouTube.

    10.  Aryeè The Gem

As an alternative R&B singer based in Atlanta, Aryeè’s music resonates with authenticity and emotion. It showcases her passion for creating soul-stirring music that leaves a lasting impact on listeners.

With her enchanting voice, Aryeè The Gem has been signed to the record label Saint & Citizen, where her soulful melodies garnered widespread love. Her debut album, Love Tap Vol 1, due later this month, features hit artists like Flo Mili and Westside Boogie & Dram, claiming her rise in the RnB space.

The world of music is constantly evolving, with new artists regularly emerging in the competitive industry with the hopes of making it big. These upcoming artists show promising incoming talent for the music industry.
