Rest assured that when SLANDER and Fairlane join forces, they’re transporting us all to cloud nine. Their new single, “Heaven Feels Like,” does just that with a blend of euphoric bass and exultant lyricism, delivering a downright blissful experience.
SLANDER showcased the collaboration before its release at EDC Las Vegas, while Fairlane did the same at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphiteatre six months ago. Since then, fans have waited in a state of patient purgatory for it to hit streaming platforms.
Out now via SLANDER’s Heaven Sent label, the track waxes optimistic from its first bar in an arrangement propelled by affectionate lyrics. As if we weren’t already feeling euphoric before the drop, the bass then blasts in to lift us skyward to the heavens, gliding on the wings of soaring, distorted vocal chops.
