Skai Jackson Confirms Pregnancy, Expecting With Boyfriend

Skai Jackson is having a baby!

After months of rumors, the Disney alum, 22, broke the big news to PEOPLE telling them she couldn’t be happier.

“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” said Jackson alongside a series of photos showcasing her baby bump.

In the pictures, the stylish mommy-to-be is seen shopping at the Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles while wearing wide-leg jeans, heels, a crisp white shirt, and a bralette. She also accessorizes with sunglasses, hoop earrings, and a cheetah print purse.

PEOPLE reports that as she prepares to become a mother herself, Jackson is remaining close to her mother, Kiya Cole, who raised the actress as a single mother. Ms. Kiya is also seen in photos alongside Skai.

“[My mom] always taught me to stand up for myself, stand up for what I believe in and fight for what is right,” Jackson told PEOPLE in February 2023. “I thank her for that because without her, I probably wouldn’t have a lot of the confidence that I do now.”

Fans first picked up on the pregnancy rumors back in August when Skai and her boyfriend made headlines after an argument at Universal CityWalk. TMZ reported that security saw Skai allegedly pushing her boyfriend multiple times, and sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene. Both Skai and her boyfriend later told the officers they were fine and actually engaged and expecting.

Most recently Skai was spotted in photos obtained by TheShadeRoom in a pink bonnet, grey shorts, a white tee, and a flannel shirt that she held over her belly. Fans caught what looked like a baby bump peeking out, with some shots even showing her resting a hand on her stomach.

A video also showed Skai walking alongside her boyfriend, who she’s yet to identify.

As reported by MadameNoire, however, Skai’s boyfriend is reportedly named Kelaia who goes by @RichNViolent on Instagram.
