Recently released footage debunks the theory that PNB Rock’s girlfriend’s location sharing was the reason for his murder and instead confirms that a stranger plotted against the rapper.
On September 12, 2022, Pnb Rock tragically lost his life while eating inside Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles. One of the men involved, Freddie Lee Trone, was sentenced to 31 years to life in prison, while his teenage son who reportedly committed the robbery and murder, was found unfit to stand trial. A third person, Tremont Jones, was convicted on two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy.
Over the last few years, we’ve heard details on the murder but newly released footage shows just how sinisterly things played out.
According to CBS never-before-seen surveillance video obtained by True Crime News debunks rumors that PnB Rock’s murder stemmed from his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang publicly sharing that they were dining at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles.
According to True Crime News analyst Ana Garcia, PnB Rock “never stood a chance” after he was spotted entering Roscoe’s. The latest footage shows a person, believed to be Tremont Jones greeting the rapper and making a phone call shortly afterward. Investigators believe he alerted Freddie Lee Trone and his son of PnB’s whereabouts.
Garcia also made sure to note that the murder was NOT Stephanie Sibounheaung’s fault despite PnB fans and celebs like Nicki Minaj pointing the finger at her.
“The setup started after he entered the restaurant. There’s someone that spots him and does a fist bump,” said Garcia. “That person then contacted someone else, a father and son team–it was those two that were responsible for the death of PNB.”
“The girlfriend blamed herself that it was her fault, and it wasn’t her fault,” added Garcia. “Social media and other celebrities jumped all over to blame her.”
New details reveal that PnB was armed with a gun, but never had the chance to defend himself or even hand the jewelry over. The footage also confirms that a getaway vehicle was found torched blocks from Trone’s house. It was registered to the mother of his children who was arrested.
The new footage also sadly shows Stephanie Sibounheuang finding out that the rapper passed away via text message during an interrogation with authorities.
Ultimately, Sibounheuuang was just a bystander during a tragic situation planned by a group of evil people with no regard for human life.
