Kim Kardashian is feeling the full weight of motherhood, especially as she navigates raising her four children—whom she shares with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West—allegedly all on her own.

Solo-parenting isn’t the only thing keeping the reality TV star on edge these days. In 2025, Ye is reportedly set to release a documentary about his life, which could tell “his side of the story” regarding his failed marriage to Kardashian, according to insiders.
Kim candidly shared her co-parenting frustrations with Ye during an appearance on her best friend Zoe Winkler’s What In The Winkler?! podcast on iHeartRadio on Nov. 12. The 44-year-old entrepreneur admitted that she often feels “alone” raising the four children she shares with the Grammy-winning rapper—North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. She also revealed that there are times when she feels overwhelmed by the responsibility.
“You and I have mostly connected on parenting and judgment, and you know, feeling like sometimes you’re in this alone,” the star shared.
Even with a strong support system and people around her, there are moments when raising her children still feels overwhelming—especially when her kids are all in her bed at night, kicking and crying, and she has no one to turn to for help.
“It’s not something I talk about a lot because I feel like there is always a lot of judgment. Or people will always jump to the, ‘Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help,’” Kim confessed.
Giving an example of how she raises her four children “by herself,” Kim shared that on the morning of her podcast appearance, she had to carpool five kids, including her own, flying solo.
“Two came over, and everyone leaves and wants to leave at like, different times and wants different stuff,” Kardashian explained to Zoe.
“I feel like I’m at, like, a pitstop of a racecar driver, when it’s like, ‘Brush your teeth, brush your teeth, brush your teeth, brush your teeth, OK, get dressed, get dressed, do your hair.’”
Although her mornings with the kids can sometimes feel like pure “madness,” the SKKN By Kim founder emphasized that she would never put her hectic schedule ahead of her children. Mornings are a precious time for her, offering a chance to connect and bond with her family.
“That’s what’s really important to me … driving them to school every single day is just what I have to do no matter what [my] work schedule [is],” she added during her What In The Winkler?! interview. “It’s really important to me. That’s just, like, my bonding time.”
Kim Is Reportedly Stressed Out About Ye’s Forthcoming Netflix Documentary In Whose Name?
Sources recently alleged to InTouch that Kim is feeling stressed about Ye’s upcoming documentary, In Whose Name? set to debut in 2025. The docuseries will reportedly present his side of the story regarding their marriage and family, and the “Heartless” rapper’s ongoing filming over the past six years has left those close to him—especially his former family—worried about what will make it into the final cut.

Variety notes that the documentary, which promises a “unique and cinematic” perspective on Ye’s public transformation, has a billion-dollar budget and a bold mission to tell the truth. According to the synopsis, In Whose Name? follows Ye, on a six-year journey captured by 18-year-old Nicolas Ballesteros, who films with nothing more than an iPhone.
The series explores Ye’s rise to become the richest Black man in U.S. history and delves into why he risked everything for the sake of freedom. Filled with never-before-seen footage, the doc will examine the cultural forces, corporate exploitation, racial complexities, and psychological struggles that shaped his rise, painting a complex portrait of the superstar who became one of the world’s most controversial figures.
Insiders close to Kim say she’s worried that the hip-hop giant will share sensitive details about their split and family in the forthcoming film.
“Kanye’s relationship with Kim and her family is not good, and while she tries to keep the peace with him, they’ve had arguments over the phone that could end up being used in the doc,” one of Kim’s confidantes told In Touch. “And he doesn’t care about being popular or liked or politically correct.”
