After shutting down breakup rumors, Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have announced that they’re engaged.

Following reports that the couple had called it quits, the former MCU star and the Divorce in the Black actress have announced their engagement.
Just last week, a rep for Good spoke to TMZ to dispel the split rumors, telling the outlet they weren’t broken up while adding, “They will be attending the EBONY100 Gala together.”

It looks like the reason Meagan’s rep pointed to the EBONY 100 Gala was that they planned on announcing their engagement, which is a pretty effective way to shut down breakup rumors. The couple was not shy about spreading the news, walking down the red carpet together as they took several snapshots of Good flashing her engagement ring.

Majors and Good confirmed the news to PEOPLE while opening up about the upcoming holiday season.
“We’re feeling great,” Good told the outlet while showing off her ring. Majors added, “It’s a season of joy,”
“It’s a season of all the good things,” Good continues, to which Majors chimed in, “Amen.”
As for why they chose to share the news at the gala, the couple told E! News that it’s because it’s where they met two years ago.
“EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom,” Good explained of their introduction.
Meagan, 43, and Jonathan, 35, were first linked in May 2023 after they were spotted together in Los Angeles. This came just a couple of months after Majors was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. He was later found guilty on two misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment and acquitted of striking her in their rideshare vehicle.
