Abbott Elementary Season 5 Episode 9 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch

As Wicked approaches its release, audiences are eager to experience the story of Elphaba, a misunderstood green-skinned woman, and Glinda, a popular girl, as they form a bond at Shiz University in Oz. With end-credits scenes trending, fans are curious whether this new Universal Pictures musical, Wicked, will feature a post-credits scene.

So, let’s dive into what we know about Wicked’s ending.

Is there an end, mid or post-credits scene in Wicked: Part One?

No, Wicked (2024) does not have any post-credits, mid-credits, or end-credits scenes.

These days, post-credits scenes are common, especially in movie franchises that use them to tease future films. However, this movie takes a different approach, skipping the Hollywood trend of including additional scenes during or after the credits. Based on the beloved Broadway musical, Wicked is finally set to hit theaters on November 22, 2024, after years of anticipation. In this star-studded musical fantasy drama, we get to see Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande leading the cast. The film serves as a prequel to the classic 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz.

The story highlights the friendship between Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood for her green skin, and Glinda, a popular girl. They build a close bond while navigating life at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. Meeting the Wizard of Oz tests their friendship and sets them on very different paths. Jon M. Chu directs the film, with Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox writing the screenplay. The movie splits into two parts, with the sequel set for release next year. Wicked: Part One runs 2 hours and 40 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating.

Wicked has received an excellent reception from critics, boasting a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 127 reviews and a solid 7.7 rating on IMDb. Wherever it’s been shown so far, this musical has thrilled audiences, making it a major hit and a strong contender during awards season.
