ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Dead Before They Wake trailer, previewing the upcoming crime thriller about a nightclub bouncer searching for a girl snared in a sex trafficking network.
What happens in the Dead Before They Wake trailer?
The trailer highlights nightclub bouncer Alex (Nathan Shepka), who is approached by a mysterious man who offers him a large sum of money to help track down a missing girl, Bianca (Grace Cordell).
Dead Before They Wake is set to release on January 7, 2025, in the United States and will release a few weeks later, on January 27, 2025, in the United Kingdom.
“Alex dwells in a caravan by day and mans the door of a city club by night,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “One evening he is approached by the mysterious Evan, a retired lawyer who offers him £20,000 on behalf of a government official to track down a missing girl named Bianca. Alex’s search takes him into the underbelly of Glasgow where he comes across the suspicious Amar and Ghadir who appear to be running a shady criminal operation far beyond the confines of their commercial property. Will Alex manage to find the girl and get her back safely, leading to his own ultimate retribution? Can he take down a ruthless trafficking ring or has he endangered the lives of himself and those around him beyond positive outcome?”

Dead Before They Wake is co-directed by Andy Crane and Nathan Shepka, from a script written by Shepka. The film stars Shepka, Cordell, Manjot Sumal, and Kareem Nasif with Sylvester McCoy and Patrick Bergin.
