EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of the release of her debut docu-film, Munroe Bergdorf has signed with Curtis Brown.
The broadcaster, activist, model and author has signed in all areas with the UTA-owned agency’s entertainment and unscripted division.
The news comes with Olivia Cappuccini’s Love & Rage: Munroe Bergdorf due to be released next year by Universal Pictures Content Group. Confronted by her past, the doc follows Bergdorf’s journey as she begins to write the story of her life.
Bergdorf’s other broadcasting work has included MTV’s Queerpiphany, which she presented with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Tayce, and Spotify podcast The Way We Are.
She has also written two books, with Talk To Me set to published next year following Transitional, which came out in 2023. Bergdorf is also known for her advocacy work. The trans model is vocal on transgender rights, serving as an ambassador for the gender variant and transgender youth charity Mermaids, and has spoken passionately about the bid to put a stop to female genital mutilation. She is a British Vogue contributing editor and UN Women Changemaker.
Bergdorf is the latest to be signed up by Curtis Brown’s growing unscripted and entertainment division. Led by Martha Atack, this division has clients including Bradley Walsh, Richard E Grant, Sue Perkins and Zoe Ball. Since launch earlier this year it has snapped up the likes of Clara Amfo.
Bergdorf continues to work with Lottie Lander and Tom Mehrtens at Satellite414 for global publicity.
