Fans of EDC will soon be able to enjoy an Aperol Spritz along Phuket’s scenic coast while hearing their favorite DJs after Insomniac Events partnered with the aperitif brand for its inaugural festival in Thailand.
Aperol will reportedly host its own pop-up experience, “Aperol Spritz Piazza,” which is designed to mirror the vibrance of Italy’s iconic piazzas. Its signature orange color is expected to draw the eye and attention of festival-goers, offering a “spot to gather with friends and unwind over Spritzes” away from the festival’s main stage.
Aperol’s owner, Campari Group, is optimistic that the EDC partnership—along with a slew of brand activations across Phuket—will expand its cultural footprint in Asian markets, according to The Spirits Business.
Insomniac recently announced the lineup for their inaugural EDC Thailand festival, which includes beloved electronic music artists Skrillex, ILLENIUM, FISHER and Tiësto, among others. The event is scheduled for January 17-19 on the grounds of the picturesque Boat Avenue Lakefront.
