Diddy Party Tapes Reportedly Spark ‘Bidding War’ Among Celebs

Hollywood stars are reportedly putting on a “bidding war” for Sean “Diddy” Combs alleged sex tapes amid the rapper’s legal battles.

According to actor Daniel Baldwin, the Bad Boy Records founder’s tapes are being sold to the highest bidder to prevent a celebrity from being dragged into Diddy’s scandal.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held in the Brooklyn MDC Jail, where he will remain until his trial in May next year.

According to Baldwin, a fierce “bidding war” is going on over rapper Diddy’s alleged tapes, which are rumored to feature several big-name stars in compromising positions.

Baldwin made the shocking claim during an appearance on the PBD Podcast, stating that the alleged footage was specifically being sold to people who appeared in the tapes.

“He has videos of the parties,” the actor said. “Now, what I’ve heard, which I don’t know how much of it is in mainstream media, I don’t really follow the story that much.”

Baldwin continued, “But what I’ve heard from friends that are attorneys, friends of mine, that have represented me before, agents and so on, is that there’s a bidding war going on right now.”

“They’re driving that price up,” he claimed. “Because if you want your client and your famous actor to not be involved, or famous singer to not come out, here’s the price.”

“And that they’re just selling to the individuals that are in those. This is what I’ve heard. They’re selling those videos,” the actor added, per the Daily Mail.

During Baldwin’s appearance on the show, he noted that he once met Diddy, whom he described as “kind.”

“I’ve met him before,” the actor claimed. “Very nice guy, very smart. Super business. He’s very successful. And I think that there’s a duality there.”

Baldwin, however, made it clear that he was never at any of the rapper’s houses with the “late-night crowd.”

He explained, “There is the faces that showed up at the parties, or the event that went to the big party, and then there was the late night crowd, when everyone started going, and then the door’s got locked up, and the last 40, 30 people were there… And I was never at any of those.”

According to the Daily Mail, Baldwin was further quizzed about the alleged Diddy “Freak Offs” and whether people who did not attend were informed about what went down by the attendees.

“I don’t like to say things that I know unless I see it… But was it discussed? Was there descriptions from people I know that were at those? Yes,” the actor said.

He then stated that the ending of a Diddy party was hugely different from the ending of a regular party.

“Does anyone ever come up to you at a certain hour and say, ‘Okay, it’s time to go?’ At those parties, they did,” Baldwin shared. “At a certain time, he shut it down, but not everyone left. So, anyone that wasn’t super famous or ‘I’m with him’ or whatever, were exited from the house. You were gone.”

He also claimed that multiple cameras were installed at a Diddy party.

“But people I don’t think realize was he had cameras all over the place, unbeknownst to them. And now he has all that footage, supposedly, this is what I’m told,” Baldwin noted.

The rapper appears to have given up on being granted bail after he recently filed to have his bail appeal dismissed.

Documents obtained by People Magazine revealed that this decision was “voluntary,” although Diddy’s exact reasons remain unclear.

The Bad Boy Records founder was first denied bail in September by U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky following his arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.

At that time, Tarnofsky ruled that “no conditions” could “reasonably assure the appearance in court and the safety of the community.”

Later that month, Diddy was again denied bail, this time by Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr., who cited concerns that the rapper could obstruct justice and tamper with witnesses relevant to the case.

In October, Diddy’s request for immediate release, pending a decision from a three-judge panel on his motion for bail, was denied by a federal appeals court judge.

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, the rapper was denied bail for the third time by Judge Arun Subramanian, who had replaced Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. after he recused himself from the case.

This denial came despite Diddy’s lawyers offering an “extremely substantial, comprehensive bail package,” which included a $50 million bond.

“The Court finds that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community,” Subramanian wrote in his ruling, per USA Today.

He also mentioned that the federal prosecutors presented “compelling evidence of Combs’s propensity for violence,” including the viral footage of the rapper assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura in 2016.

From all indications, Diddy will remain in jail until his trial date in May 2025 after withdrawing his bail appeal. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and has vowed to prove his innocence.
