We first came to learn about Diddy’s alleged drug mule Brendan Paul, 25, earlier this year when he was taken into custody on March 26, the same day that federal agents raided the mogul’s Los Angeles and Miami homes.
However, shortly before his arrest, Brendan Paul, a former basketball player for Syracuse University turned assistant to Diddy, was named in a lawsuit filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. The producer accused Paul of being Diddy’s “drug mule,” alleging he would “acquire and distribute Mr. Combs drugs and guns.” Lil Rod would also accuse Diddy’s former girlfriend, rapper Yung Miami, of being a mule of sorts as well.

As new details were surfacing around Diddy’s federal sex trafficking investigation following Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and Lil Rod’s lawsuits, 25-year-old Brendan Paul was arrested by Miami-Dade Police at Opa-Locka Airport around 4:30 p.m. Paul, who police claimed had “contraband inside his personal travel bags,” was reportedly taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami and held on two $2,500 bonds for two charges: cocaine possession and possession of a controlled substance (described as marijuana-infused candy).
After his arrest, Diddy’s alleged drug mule Brendan Paul was officially charged with felony drug possession, to which he pled not guilty. About a month later, Brendan Paul struck a plea deal and avoided jail time. Paul’s attorney, Brian Bieber, confirmed to TMZ that his client accepted the prosecutor’s offer to enter a diversion program, which lasts about 6 months. Upon completion of the program, Paul’s case would be dismissed entirely. The Miami-Dade State Attorney also reported that this is a standard offer for non-violent defendants with no prior convictions in possession cases.

Since copping a plea deal in May 2024, Diddy’s alleged drug mule Brendan Paul is a free man, for now, as Florida state prosecutors have dropped all charges against him and dismissed his felony drug possession case.
On Tuesday (December 17), TMZ reported that Paul’s attorney, Brian Bieber, confirmed his completion of a pretrial diversion program, and as part of his plea deal, the state prosecutors dropped his case, with him avoiding jail time and probation.
Although Diddy’s alleged drug mule Brendan Paul had his felony drug possession case dismissed in Florida state, federal sources told TMZ that he did NOT strike a deal with federal prosecutors in Diddy’s federal racketeering and sex trafficking case, so he may still be on the hook with them.
