Mia Thornton and Gizelle Bryant‘s recent on-camera spat was reportedly much worse than what viewers saw on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

After Gizelle, 54, was seen calling out Mia, 40, for revealing that her daughters, who include Grace Bryant, 20, and twins Adore and Angel Bryant, 18, had been “sneaking boys” into their home, a new report claims that in addition to blasting Gizelle’s children for their supposedly wild antics, Mia called the girls “wh*res” before begging producers to cut the shocking scene from the show.

According to a December 23 report from The Jasmine Brand, Mia called out Gizelle for supposedly portraying her family life as “perfect” and only featuring a “highlight reel” on social media. She then shared details of what she claimed was actually going on behind the scenes with Gizelle’s family.

“It seems like you’re lashing out a bit. We don’t bring up children. We don’t talk about each other’s children and you brought up mine,” Gizelle told Mia in the episode. “You and I had a discussion when we were in the [Dominican Republic]; this was last year. I have three girls that are teenagers. If they’re sneaking a boy in the house, that’s par for the course. That’s what happens with teenagers. I don’t know whether you know that or not. I snuck boys in.”

Although Gizelle admitted Mia’s claims about the boys were true, she slammed her co-star for mentioning the drama for the cameras, and Ashley Darby, 36, agreed that Mia’s commentary was off-base.

“The fact that Mia even wants to double down on her comment instead of saying, ‘Oh, I spoke out of anger,’ or, ‘I misspoke. I’m sorry,’ this is the time to at least say something remorseful. Have some contrition,” Ashley stated in a cast confessional.

Then, after Ashley pointed out that Mia showcased a highlight reel on her social media pages too, which Mia admitted to doing, Gizelle further shaded Mia in a confessional of her own.

“Who you were when you were their age — that ain’t them. So stop it,” she demanded.

But as The Jasmine Brand noted, that wasn’t all that went down at the cast’s dinner party. Instead, Mia allegedly called the girls “wh*res” while they were filming — and not just once.

As the outlet explained, however, much of the conversation never aired because both Mia and Gizelle begged their production team to edit out the harsh statement.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season nine airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
