On Saturday, 21 Savage and his Leading By Example Foundation brought holiday cheer to Atlanta with their sixth annual holiday toy drive. Held at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center, the event celebrated generosity and community, benefiting over 1,000 families and children in partnership with DeKalb County.

This year’s holiday giveback provided over 3,000 toys, clothes, food, bikes, and Christmas gifts, ensuring a memorable season for the local community. Adding to the event’s significance, Congressman Hank Johnson and Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson—long-time supporters of 21 Savage’s philanthropic efforts—honored him with four proclamations and two community action awards. Among the recognitions was a declaration of December 21st as ‘21 Savage Leading By Example Day’ in DeKalb County, Georgia, solidifying his impact as a local and national humanitarian.
This holiday drive follows the success of 21 Savage’s ‘Issa Back to School Drive’ in August, which debuted the Leading By Example Social Impact Village, sponsored by Amazon Access. The village connected attendees with Atlanta-based nonprofit organizations, including the Decatur-DeKalb chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and Wealthy Habits, reinforcing 21 Savage’s commitment to long-term community empowerment.

In partnership with Wealthy Habits, 21 Savage also launched the Master Your Money Financial Success 101 Guide, a free financial literacy toolkit distributed to 3,000 students during the back-to-school drive and now available online via the Leading By Example Foundation website.
This effort builds on his longstanding dedication to promoting financial literacy, dating back to 2018 when he partnered with Get Schooled to launch the “21 Savage Bank Account” campaign. Through this initiative, he has educated over 1,000 students on financial literacy, offered job placements at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and provided bank accounts, extending free financial education nationwide via his Bank Account At Home program.
With his ongoing holiday and back-to-school initiatives, 21 Savage continues to uplift the Atlanta community and inspire change on a national scale. By merging philanthropy with financial education, he’s leading by example—one family, one child, and one lesson at a time.
