Disney+ beloved animated anthology series What If…? Season 3 has returned triumphantly. This season delves into reinterpreting significant events from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, opening up a vast multiverse of intriguing scenarios. Fans are eager to discover how many episodes are in Season 3.

How many episodes of What If…? Season 3 are left after Episode 2?

After Episode 2, What If…? Season 3 is left with six more episodes.

The third season premiered on Disney+ on December 22, 2024, at 9 PM ET and 6 PM PT. With a total of eight episodes, this season has a slightly shorter run compared to the nine episodes featured in each of the first two seasons. Marvel launched the first two episodes back-to-back on December 22 and 23, giving fans a quick dive into its multiversal wonders. The remaining episodes will continue to be released daily, wrapping up the season on December 29, 2024, offering fans a compact yet thrilling narrative experience.

Is What If…? Season 3 the last one?

Yes, What If…? Season 3 will be the last installment in the animated MCU universe.

Before the release of Season 3, Marvel.com interviewed director Bryan Andrews, giving him the chance to reflect on bidding farewell to the genre-bending series. In response, the director shared his thoughts by saying, “It makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. After three seasons, many people have grown very attached to these characters.”

Being an incredibly thrilling animated series, it dives into alternate realities within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Each episode reimagines a key moment from the MCU films, resulting in fresh and unique storylines. Heroes may become villains, surprising partnerships emerge, and different worlds encounter distinct challenges.
