Evil Season 1 initially premiered on CBS in 2019, but later seasons transitioned to Paramount+. While all four seasons are currently available to stream on that network, most U.S. viewers are waiting for its arrival on Netflix.

In September 2020, CBS made Season 1 available on Netflix to reach a larger audience and build anticipation for future installments. The deal was temporary, leading to the show leaving Netflix sooner than expected. However, in April 2024, Seasons 1 and 2 returned to Netflix under a new agreement.
